    Are any of the Sager/Clevo reseller models better than others?

    Hi - I'm interesting in buying a Clevo P651SG or P650 SG (i.e. the Nvidia N970m model), and am based in the UK, and was wondering if any of the rebranded models offered by the resellers I have access to are better than others (e.g. better screens, more customisation options or other pluses, including support)?

    The UK resellers I'm aware of are:

    * PCSpeciialist with their 15.6 Defiance model
    * Mysyn which offers both XMG (though not the 970m model) and Schenker models
    * Scan 3XS - which offers the 3XS Graphite LG1520 and 3XS Graphite LG1520 though they don't seem to offer them with the Intel Core i7 4710, which I would prefer

    Are any of these better than the others and are there other resellers or reseller models I should be looking at? Thanks!

    mysn does offer the 965 on some and 970/980 on all their P series laptops except the 13" and also the W504 you linked too.
    the info pages you linked too have not been updated but if you click on configure then the check the graphics card drop down box for each model mySN.co.uk | XMG | Schenker Technologies - Gaming Laptops

    Thanks - BTW most of the reviews I've seen of the Clevo P651SG or P650 SG and it's reseller variants seem to imply that if you go for the 1080p FHD panel option, it's a fairly poor TN screen, but it appears that MySN offer a Full-HD AU B156HAN01.2 (1920*1080) Matte IPS and PCSpecialist a Full-HD 1920*1080 IPS matte N156HGE-LA1 LED screen - are these any good and is one better than the other?

    I don't want a TN panel, but don't really want a 4K or even a 3K panel, as would prefer to avoid scaling issues and don't think the 970m is really up to 4K gaming.

    no idea on the different panels.
    mine (LG Philips LP156WF1) is 2 years old now and back then you had options of 60%/72%/90% gamut screens but i opted for the standard matte screen and it honestly blew me away with its bright vibrant colors compared to my previous 7 year old clevo.

    the best people to as would be mysn on their live chat. they are a great bunch of guys that dont try and sell you something you dont need. tell them what you want and they will advise if youve gone overboard like i did and they saved me 500 quid.

    price are generally the same. yeah, you can find a better price, but some resellers offer many more options. just stay away from resellers that have a bad reputation.
