Every single notebook I have had... did have fading palmrest issue.
I know you can prevent it. but still they are prone to fading. except the sager 5680 i'm typing on doesn't have this problem... because of the palmrests being flexy window type things.

touchpads I've seen do the same fading. I know the m1730 has the glossy plastic now to prevent fading. (something they should have done along time ago).

I am just wondering because in some of the pictures the palmrest and plastics of the d901c look glossy.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks

EDIT: i read that they are glossy.

but still does that mean that they won't fade?
