    Stock clocks.

CPU cores are 71 degrees to 78 degrees on max settings Assassins Creed Unity.

    Is this normal?

All day every day! GPU temps about 10C higher are ideal.

What temps are considered almost dangerous for gaming concerning GPU or CPU?

CPU will throttle at 95, GPU will throttle at... 92? Maybe? I'm not sure what maxwell's cutoff point for mobile is. Either way, they're designed to not hit their TJMax (dangerous) temperatures. Cooler is indeed nicer, but you don't have to worry at those temps.

And if for some reason you do get to actual dangerous levels there is a thermal protection built in that will turn the computer off instantly.

Hah I was seeing mid-high 90s with mine. Re did the thermal paste and now I'm good to go! The new chips are very tolerant of high temps on account of their relatively low operating voltage. The 70c rule no longer applies

That has never really applied to notebooks really. Maxwell does run very cool though :)

It was the pentium M that was the coolest, ah those were the days. They have been getting hotter for the most part since.

Ok, I played AC Unity yesterday and I am getting 85 to 92 degrees on my CPU cores. I was thinking to have my fans on maximum while gaming. What would you recommend?

    Kinda scared of repasting stuff.

I always suggest max fans if you're gaming. As long as you can take the noise.

Repasting is pretty easy, but one of those things you don't get comfortable doing until you've done it a few times. Those temps don't require a repasting, max fans should help a drop a few degrees.

Lol the Pentium M in the Dell latitude my mom used to use a work laptop ran so hot... Fans were always on... It was a well built brick though.. lasted from 2006-2011/12...

LOL, everyone is but once you do it it's becomes 2nd nature.. There's no need to do it now but eventually you'll have to do so..

Max fans should help, especially with a game like that. Repasting shouldn't be something to consider much unless you are thinking of upgrading whatever paste is already applied.

I will turn on Max fan settings whenever I game. Is there a program to auto max fan settings when playing games?

AC Unity is demanding. Too demanding.

There is no program for it, but if you are on a Sager/Mythlogic/using Prema's BIOS, you can simply press "fn + 1" and max fans will turn on. Pressing it again turns them off. Simple.

The prema bios files use the same software update program as the normal files.

I've never done it, but you're on a Sager model, so you don't need the BIOS to do it.

As long as you follow the instructions, it should be done in 10mins or less. I used his BIOS for my last clevo, W370ET and was veeery impressed with the performance. For me, it disabled the CPU throttling that the stock BIOS was forcing. (and added a ton of other settings to the BIOS UI)
