Hello, I have called around and every answer I get is no we can not help you. Clevo said no I have voided warranty, and so on and so forth.

I'm not asking for much here. I love my laptop and have had it for over a year now. Problem is, I ruined a screw thread on i7-7820HK heatsink, so I need an entire new heatsink or someone to get the threaded screw out.

I am willing to pay a professional in the community that lives in the United States both ways shipping and reasonable and fair labor wages to fix this issue for me, and I will also be sending a new unopened Liquid Konductonaut for the person fixing it to re-paste it with. I currently have Konductonaut on it. Everything works great. I will pay in PayPal Gift so there is no worry for the person providing the labor.

Would be great if someone can help me out here. I also will pay extra if you wouldn't mind putting the Konductonaut I am providing on the gpu as well. Might as well do both.

Every Optical Shop has the tools to drill that bit out, then just get a new screw. Done

A metal file can get you a decent enough incision to use a flathead screwdriver on the stripped screw. You can pick up one, or a set, at any hardware store. It would save you a lot on shipping and someone's labor charge.

There is a recent thread on this problem, and see the solution from t456
    Remove stripped screw

The Grabit Micro really is a handy tool to have on hand.
It's not a one-off product, the Grabit-Pro kit is a godsend for removing that one project-stalling screw around the house too

    I can help you.
Prema's right though, Optical shops, working on glasses have to deal with small screws all the time, they might be able to help you too.

I'm sending it to you. You have good reputation. Optical shops is not a bad idea, but I do not trust non-tech people with my Konductonaut when they remove the heatsink, it might smear if the worker is no careful.

@sicily428 I owe you a $5 steam game for the shout out, this really is going to save my butt. PM me if interested lol
