Is this AMD driver faulty? Any ideas?
Thanks

Are you sure that isn't a part of the game? I remember seeing those patterns AC games. If you are sure those artifacts shouldn't be there, it is likely the driver.

I checked gameplays and for sure this is not part of a game.
Does the 12.11b8 driver have implemented Enduro performance fix?
//// edit:
[SOLVED]
Installing AMD 12.11 beta 8 solved this problem, still dont know what with performance but game looking now smooth -
Set AA to High will resolve this bug.
And..... FPS seems to drop below 20 when I come to Boston... -

I had the same bug with 12.11b3
I was going to install the enduro performance drivers but it seems like I will need 12.11 b8 now.
Too bad I'm also playing borderlands 2 and the beta 11 doesn't seems to have the fix for dx9 . -
@sheldorconqueror
Try first like @Shahan said, install 12.11p and set in settings AA to High not Very High, if this doesn't work, then install 12.11b8.

I will thanks
been fighting against BSOD for a day, I just managed to install the perf drivers -
I've tried Performance driver and the beta 8 but FPS always drops to around 20FPS when I come to Boston, regardless of graphic configuration and resolution, not sure if it is a game's bug or GPU's bug

It's the game, I checked youtube, some users are saying it's poorly optimized.

Wireframe mode on even if you don't want it to be :/ But that is a bug with the AA since its appearing on the edges of objects which is where it does it's stuff (for MSAA anyway).

For performance issues, I read that the game only enables one core of the CPU, so try changing the affinity to work on all 4 main cores. Also I read that max environmental detail is garbage for even the best of the best desktop rigs, so turn that down a notch.

try disabling the hyperthreaded cores and see if that does anything.

Also, I'm running the stock Sager HD4000 Drivers + the 7970M Performance Drivers & I haven't seen any of the stuff you've posted in your screenshots. All that loaded up smoothly for me. The main problem for me is that the game runs below 50 FPS 90% of the time. Just after the cut scenes I get a decent FPS of around 60 but it keeps dropping down to 40.
Is it any better using BETA8? (I don't want to try it unless I have to, as it might mess up my drivers resulting in a re-install :| ) -

There is n discernible difference between beta8 and 12.11P that I can tell. -

Yeah, 12.11P are giving me slightly better playability in Most Wanted. Going to try Skyrim now.. -

I'm going to finish Most Wanted first, then I'll switch to BETA8. Will try Skyrim then.
Also, Black Ops II runs just fine. Can't crank up all the options to Ultra (You'll get kinda low frames) But on High-Medium-High, it's pretty good.. ~60 all the time. -

For me on 12.8 the game plays beautifully around 50 fps and I have not seen any 20 fps drops as I entered Boston or the fighting scenes..
