Does anyone know of a half-height mini PCI-E Atheros wifi card with three antenna slots?

Try e-mailing RJTech. They might have some.

I doubt RJTech has any Atheros card... they don't even offer it on their website. I would try eBay, but it helps to do some research and just look for an specific model.

I just confirmed that R&JTech doesn't have Atheros cards.

Specifically, I'm eyeing for a 3x3 MIMO Atheros 802.11N half-height card. I tried ebay and researched everywhere, all I can see is a full height 3x3 MIMO or a half height 2x2. :(

Is there a reason why you are avoiding the Intel 5300?

It's because more people are suggesting that the Atheros is better than the Intel 5300 in terms of stability and it has no negative issues whatsoever.

More Lenovo users are having problems with the Intel 5300. Some members here in NBR also confirmed they were having problems. I just couldn't give a link because there are tons of places I read about it.

Well, I myself had problems with the 5300 when I had my M860TU. Disconnection problems while transferring files and random disconnections while idle.

I remember I've asked you that before Sov, and you told me that my router was old. I then bought the newest router of Linksys, the WRT610N dual-band N router and the results were the same.

It's also not because of signal strength, since I have full bar signal strength.

So I'm not sure if it's because of my laptop then or just the Intel 5300. This is why I'm pushed towards trying for myself the Atheros cards.

Intel chipsets are superb in WIRED networking products over any other brands but they kind of suck in the WIRELESS side, based on what I read and my experience that is.
