This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Automatically disable trackpad when external mouse plugged in?

    I reinstalled my OS recently and ever since I did I cannot for the life of me get the setting to automatically disable the touchpad when an external mouse is plugged in.

    I used to follow the advice in post #9 from this thread:

    But that no longer works. Any ideas? I know this MUST be possible...
    I use the standard stock Sager touchpad drivers.

    Try popping the latest ones from the touchpad manufacturer on there :)
