I own a P370EM Crossfired Laptop and was wondering is there any benefit to updating my BIOS at all in relation to performance or overclocking or is it a waste of time.
And if it is worthwhile where do I find ones to download!? google is not helping me sadly.
My current BIOS version is American Megatrends 4.6.5 11/09/2012, SMBios version 2.7

ive never updated either of my clevo laptops bios and never will.
read too many posts over the years of bricked laptops after attempting a bios update.
if you know what your doing then go for it and if you dont then stay well clear.
tbh it would be good to get some feedback from someone that actually knows what they are doing when it comes to bios as i have no idea what the advantages would be.
my almost 6 year old clevo is still going strong. yes its had a new gpu and hard drive but no bios update. can still play all the games i want on it which i dont now as ive got my 1 year old P150

The battery life of my 170EM was greatly improved after updating the BIOS. Usually if there are no problems, don't update.

Indeed, only flash for specific issues that are listed to be fixed.

BIOS mods may sometimes get you a quicker boot, but generally "updating" system BIOS does not equate to a faster machine or more OC potential.

Don't update it unless something is wrong and/or your reseller/retailer suggests you do it per troubleshooting.
