I saw a tutorial to do this on a sony and I was wondering if there are any issues with doing it on a sager.

I have a NP5796 (M570TU) with Protector Suite 5.8.2. If I turn on a BIOS password and then link it to the fingerprint reader, I will *still* be able to log on with a typed password when/if the fingerprint reader ever breaks, correct?

Anyone have an easy way to do this with the sager? Thanks a lot for any help!

There is no way to link the BIOS to the scanner, that I am aware of. If the SHTF, you can always reset the BIOS.
