Hey guys, I've had my new Sager np5793 for about a 1-2 weeks now and it runs perfectly. It's amazing with the new middle fan bios and gets with stock and with everything running in the background (antivirus, firewall, etc.) 9117 in 3dmarks06. But there is one thing. I seem to have the same problem as Justin Credible in this post http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?p=2910023#post2910023

Every time ntune tries to use the system monitor, it BSOD. Has anyone else had this problem or have a fix? I'm currently using a dual boot windows vista ultimate 64bit and windows xp home 32bit. Using the stock Sager 8800gtx drivers (the 147.43 I think) and trying to use ntune in vista.

    Thanks,
    Dan

Bump please... I'm having the same exact problem. DO i have to use the Laptopvideo2go modded inf when I install these drivers? I'm aware that they are the only drivers atm that let the card run at full speed. I just would like to be able to use ntune.

Justin... how did you guys get your card to overclock? I'm using vista 64 btw...

It could be that the video drivers are special for the NP5793 and nTune isn't compatible with them. nTune isn't a great program anyway - use Rivatuner, it's superior:

You can monitor your temperatures and overclock with it to name a few.

I tried to use a Rivatuner on my 9262 but it gave me the message saying it's not compatible with the driver for my 8800 gtx. I'd like to know where to get a compatible driver because I got what I believe to be a heat warning ( an alarm sounded with 4 beeps approx 1 sec a piece ) 2 times while playing The Witcher. There shouldn't be any reason for it since the cooling system is supposed to be great, and I play it on a glass table top with nothing anywhere near the vents.

The 8800M-GTX is a very new card, it could simply be that some time is needed to bring out support for it. One more program you could try is ATI Tool but I doubt that will work if Rivatuner didn't.

    Chaz,

since you are reviewing it, can you monitor the 8800M GTX?

I am trying to get a hold of a Clevo with the 8800M to do some tests as well.
