Okay, so I got my laptop today. So far, discovered two problems.

HDMI port isn't showing up at all, anywhere. It's like it's non existant.

On my Asus, it shows up under device manager and the Realtek HD Audio window as a device to switch too. Is there somewhere to download a driver? Sager lists NO drivers for this laptop, and clevo is only showing the ones which came with the disc. No HDMI option.

Also, There is a thumping/clicking sound. Sounds like something is touching the fan, bt nothing is. Taken cover off four times to look.

I'mabout ready to drop kick this thing. So far, I feel like its the biggest piece o'cr@p i've bought.

Please, if someone knows how to fix these problems, please tell me. I've been at it all day, with no progress.

But do you get a picture showing from an external monitor?

Not too familiar with the nvidia cp any more but I'm guessing you control hdmi through the nvidia cp just like you would the ati cp.

Maybe the clicking sound is the sound of the plastic melting from the GTX480m :p

I'm guessing a bad fan...? If it's a continuous clicking sound...

What is the HDMI input connected to?

n/m, hdmi problem fixed, rather, didn't need fixing. even thoough there's no option to switch or to select the audio for it, picture and audio are automatic when the 8850 detects an HD external monitor connected via HDMI cable.

All is good with that, actually kinda nice. With my Asus, I have to manually select HDMI, then select the HDMI audio input. Don't have to with this Sager.

But, the thumping soundcoming from the fan is still there. :(

I hope you found what the clicking is. I'm keeping an eye on this laptop and thinking about making the jump cause I don't see anything else that tops it (not counting the desktop i7's).
