Guys, I need your help on this one.
In the past 4 months I have had 4-5 BSODs, two of which were while exiting a game and the rest while playing (all during completely different games). Not much of bother as they are very rare but I've decided to investigate the issue.
After decoding and reading the dump files, it turns out it is a memory problem (something to do with a pointer). My first thought was that my video ram is to be blame, due to my OC, but nonetheless I've decided to further investigate the issue.
So I've start with memtest86+ in DOS mode and... to my surprise, under test 5 it started to spit a massive amount of errors (about 4000). So I naturally assumed that one of the hyperX RAM modules is to blame so I removed one module, tested it, put in the other slot tested, then the next module and so on... but none of them gave any errors after each one receiving one hour of testing (2 passes) in each module. So I've decided to put them back together and, yes, under test 5, they start giving errors, although this time there were less than 50 (2 in the first pass, 40 in the second pass). What gives?
Another problem that I've noticed is that if I recall correctly, my first two BSODs where before installing the HyperX memories.
So then... which component is to blame? My best guess is the motherboard.

I had this problem with my D900F when it was just new, it only saw 2/3 RAM chips, i did the same testing as you, each chip worked fine put all three in, didnt work, flashed BIOS, no luck, i was about to give up and just took them all out once more put them back in and it worked?
Iv had 8/9 BSODs due to OCing the CPU and stress testing to find out max stable frequencies but never the GPU, i thought it was my mobo too to do with the RAM but it just fixed itself?
I realise not much help but thats my experience -
i would try a new pair of sticks before i make any conclusions. may as well be a compatibility problem.

Mutant has a point. On my initial test I got 3000 errors, removed and replaced the RAm -> 60 errors.
But I will try with a different pair of sticks as well, unfortunately this will only happen in two weeks from now.
Thank you all! -
The thing is ... I had similar OC problems with my video card in the past.... the GDDR would not go above 900 Mhz, the system would crash even in aero.
It is very strange, I guess only a reseller would know better what is going on... -
