    Is there any reliable reseller other than R and J Tech that sells barebone Sager/Clevo? I'm looking to buy a Sager NP8662 without a CPU.

    Other than RJTech, Sager direct also sells barebone models. Just ask them for the system you want and they will give you a quote.

    Agreed, first time ordering from RJTech for my barebones D900F, and they rocked. Their response time via email is very fast, and their time tables were accurate.

    I also ordered a DVDRW drive from RK many months ago for my 1722 and the delivery was prompt and efficient.

    If you contact ProStar directly they will sell you a system however you want it. The times I've contacted Sager directly they were totally inflexible.

    Bought the cpu off ebay, barebones from RJtech.

    Ebay is usually the cheapest source for CPUs,,, jut aim for the higher ratings.

    I bought CPU off Ebay, mem and hd off Newegg, and had the Intel 5300 installed by RJTech with the barebones. Supposed to ship this week.

    More specifically the NP5797 w/280M. I didn't see a Clevo equivalent on their site.

    I recommend RJtech as well. They didn't fail me on anything, at least. Getting a custom order from some other place is, like someone said, inflexible, and you gotta make sure that it comes with a warranty, and that its not a refurbished model or something or something.

    There can be a very light difference for the same model... for example, the Sager NP5797 is labeled the same for both systems colors (Orange and Silver), while clevo separates them into M570TU and M571TU. Im sure noone cares about it, though.

    If you will contact with them directly, describe what do you want, even if it will be same as on ebay, they will give a prices 100Eur less then even on Ebay. So their site is a little bit wrong with such kind of numbers.

    Be sure you get plenty of sleep the night prior to UPS delivering the notebook. I can tell you're not going to be getting any sleep the next day, haha.
