Is anyone playing this yet? Just started up, configured my settings. At first it starts at 60fps and looks nice but as soon as you walk in the first building there are monumental frame rate drops to 6fps?!

    Interesting ....

Wow that's not good especially after last years botched Dx11 showing on arkahm city.
Looks like origins has issues too**
EDIT**: possible AA settings in-game(see below)
cfcboy are you running Dx11 and what are you in-game settings?

It seems MSAA is the culprit. Ive got everything on max settings with aa off and works fine. Tried it with FXAA high and still good fps but as soon as i go to any level of MSAA the huge fram rate spikes kick in. When i mean huge i mean from 60fps to 6 :(

Yes mate, see above. DX11 setting seem fine its when i go to MSAA it just kills me in some scenes though it doesnt make sense why (no big action screens etc), it can happen anywhere.

As for the game itself, its good but feels like an extension of AC, not in anyway game breaking. Guess they went safe with tried and tested which is understandable considering the move from Rocksteady.

MSAA will always cripple your system.
With AA off what is your average fps in dx11 on 7970m?

Agree but its completely fine one min running at 60fps then it just drops like a stone to 6/7 fps.

Everything maxed out and no AA im getting around 75fps. FXAA high - 60fps, MSAAx4 55fps to start but then the spikes.

Great then the game is working normally. :)
I recall Max Payne 3 with MSAA butchered my system and everyone else too. Hitman Absolution also had it from memory and it too was very taxing.
I have since found an alternative to MSAA and FXAA which is a million times better.
