    I was wondering if I can find in the market a battery charger lighter than the one included in the box.
    I have a Clevo W740SU.

    I too was hoping to find a second adapter for work. All I could find were generic adapters that claimed compatibility with all sager models. Xotic doesn't have an adapter listed for my model (8650) so I'm still looking as well.

    Any standard 5.5x2.5mm barrel type connector with 19V able to deliver 4.74A (or higher) will work. There are a few slim 3rd party chargers like the coolermaster ones which should work well.

    OEM adapters are safer but as long as you know the electrical specifications and can find those tied to a barrel/tip that fit the jack, it should be fine. Just bear in mind that any time you use an aftermarket adapter, they're not covered by the OEM nor is any damage to the system per the adapter covered.

    Just don't go buying a cheap knock off that puts out more EM noise than a radar system and will be about as safe as playing with live electrical cables while taking a bath.
