Hi ok m15x vs NP5973..battery life wize

now i know m15x has stealth mode (underclocked GPU/CPU) and BineryFX (intergrated mode which i would never use) however.. does NP5973 have some automatic clock down as well while its running off battery or has any one manually set it up

looks like 5973 gets 2+ hours on a modest back light setting.. (on 9cels ?)

looks like M15x gets 2+ hours underclocked with out a smart bay (6cels )
looks like M15x gets 4+ hours underclocked with a smart bay (12cel total)

would the 5973 get 3+/4+ hours underclocked?

if u underclocked the 5973 as much as the m15x's stealthmode could u get 3+hours... or is the 2hours 40min give or take that people have reported tested with power saving settings already turned on.

i don't wana get a m15x+ smartbay to get just 4hours batterylife under clocked to find out i could get the same with a single 9cell battery in the np5973 with power tweaks. However if i cant get my battery life to at least 4-5 hours the laptop will just simply not be suitable for me.

    thanks

    Already been answered.
PS: The power consumption in the Sager is higher, due to a larger screen, so therefore the one to have more battery life is the M15x.

Mmm the but the issue i have is no one says what power settings they have the laptop one when they get 2.40mins or so on the sager.. is that default clocks? or lowered for extra life.

    Probably with the PowerMizer.

In my case: screen at 4/7 , minimal power management and powemizer on, no wifi. Just browsing(so LAN on). Time: a little over 2.5 hours(camera and bluetooth disabled also)
