    Good day all

    I have a 1 year old CLEVO W860CU, with a inflated battery.
I have removed battery to avoid any explosion.

The problem is that hard drive now "in the air", I would like to buy a battery cover, but I can't find, only the battery with the cover attached.

I don't want to buy new battery as battery only use to work around 1hour.
Maybe I can "open" the battery to remove the cells, but I don't know how.

    Does anyone do that?

If you're just trying to keep the laptop level, you may want to try cutting a piece of styrofoam to fit the opening. It's a pretty common alternative for people that like to leave the batteries out of their laptops for any reason :)
