    Beeping Noise from Sager 2096

    Out of the blue, my Sager started playing these beeping noises every couple of minutes.
    My best description is that it plays the notes
    cb-cb-cb-cb
    This is the first time this has happened, and I'm not sure what to make of it.

    the only time my Sager beeps is when the battery is low

    when it hang ....make stupid excessive work it gives that beeb!!!!

    Neither of those apply for me. It's happened when the processor is running more, but it's never been excessive work. I'm not sure what's up with it.

    Are there any pauses between the beep notes, and are they long or short notes?

    The BIOS emits beeps for certain sorts of system errors. A list of Phoenix BIOS beep codes can be found here.
