Just wondering if any of you guys could advise which wireless card to go with? I'll be ordering my new laptop this coming Saturday. The wireless card is the only thing I was wondering about.

    thanks,

I'd get the Intel 7260 since it uses the new AC standard which is the newest in wireless.

Can you wait a week or two more before ordering? Black Friday / Cyber Monday is coming. May be a deal coming on the 9390, hopefully all Sagers/Clevos.

7260 is worth consideration now that the latest driver seems to have helped quite a bit. The card won't do you a ton of good if you don't have or upgrade to a AC router, though. Bigfoot cards are also good, especially for gaming; just remember that the Bigfoot 1103 does not provide Bluetooth.

I may be able to wait a week. but I've already been waiting for over a month. Finally have the funds.

One thing I should have mentioned is the laptop will be dual booted. Windows 7 and mint 15. Primary OS will be mint..so I guess I would like something that's going to be friendly and work well with mint. As for a wireless router, I'm looking into a new router, so AC will hopefully be an option.

Well if it is the AC card would make a lot of sense. Intel cards are pretty universal so there should be drivers but you can always check.
