Not sure if this is a Windows issue, Sager hardware issue, or combination. But after I did a reformat a couple months ago I didn't bother with a password. Every time I booted it remembered my screen brightness setting and whether my wi-fi was on or of. After I turned on a password, now it defaults to the default "high performance" setting. Thoughts?

Hmm, now that you say that Fn+ESC doesn't work now either. Going to reinstall hotkey and see what happens.
BeforeWindows password, screen and networking saved, after password added not saved
