Does everyone else tend to make so many changes to their config after placing their order? I feel like I'm the most annoying customer ever for a Clevo/Sager, please re-assure me.

You have to get it right, afterall it's a lot of money to part with.

Sometimes I fear Jeff at Mythlogic (who has been great throughout my nagging for changes) has nightmares about me "Please! No more emails! Leave me and your laptop alone!!!" along that line xD
-
dont worry , i did the same , went from 17" to 15" to 15" with 95% gamut, then i decided to order the Drive from them .. sure gentech "loved" me

It's normal I think.
High priced, high risk items are always a target for constant changes e.g. buying a house or a car.
But here is where you separate the good resellers from the bad; if they put up with the constant nagging and still remain polite in the end, then you got yourself a keeper. -
I also completely changed my config from a 15" to a 17". Malibal's been great through the whole process. Hopefully my laptop will be shipped soon!

The only issue comes when the laptop is already in transit, then it's .... -

You're not the only one
but dont worry we all want you to get what you want. These notebooks are a big investment and we know people go lots of research before (and after) you place your order. Change the order as much as you'd like, we rather have you do that then get a computer you're not 100% happy with.

Its nothing to worry about at all. A laptop to many of us (me included) is a very personal item. Its something we are going to probably use every-day for probably a good portion of the day as well.
We may be using it for a while as well, perhaps a couple of years and need it to be as perfect as possible. I'd hate to use something constantly for a long time that I am not happy with. -
I too felt the same way ordering from MALIBAL, but they were nice and polite to explain procedures etc... I think I called them three or four times yesterday and they were nothing but polite and I never felt they were annoyed. I bold felt because they could have been haha but it was never conveyed in their answers.

gee, now I don't feel bad at all!
I didn't change a thing.
-
I don't normally edit orders either.

Mr_Mysterious Like...duuuuuude
Lol we're not all as neurotic as you are, OP
Jk, it's your machine, your money, do whatever you wish to it. I wouldn't recommend these resellers if they couldn't handle irate, annoying, persistent, etc. customers....and they all can
Mr. Mysterious -
I look at it this way. I want to get the machine right (it's a lot of money) and I want a reseller who will be there to answer any tiny question I might have. They want you to be happy, too, as it's less chance of a return. A returned laptop is worse than one not sold.
Besides, if you really do get annoying, I'm sure they'll let you know. -
Thanks for the reassurance that I'm not crazy
