Hey guys, I'm looking for a good external monitor out there right now. I'm an Electrical Engineering student and can really benefit from the increased workspace. My only criteria are:
-24" matte LED
-~$200-250 limit
-Has HDMI connection
Been looking at the ASUS VS248H-P and the Viewsonic VX2453mh. What do you guys think? Are there 24" IPS monitors out there that are $200?

Monitors and Displays
I personally use an Acer GD235Hz as it was one of the only displays that supported 120Hz/3DVision when I got it. It works fabulously for 3D Gaming, though it's outside the range you wanted for price. -
24" IPS panels start at... probably two and a half times that.
I actually own the VS248H, and it's a pretty damn good monitor for the price. I ended up getting mine for $160 not too long ago. -
Thanks, just placed an order on the VS248H-P.
