Hi just wondering if anyone with a dual 6990m set up runs skyrim without bluescreens every 30-60 mins and what their set up was.

I am running 12.1 preview right now so any suggestions I'd be more than happy to try!

AMD Game Forums - Catalyst 11.11 Crash/BSOD Fix

They say in Skyrim 11.11 cause horrible FPS and blue screens.

I'm afraid to try anything more from AMD site because if I do I'll most likely have to reformat again to get it working 100%.

Also MALIBAL #2 if you see this again, do you have any experience with the Intel 6300 wireless card completely screwing a system?

The drivers 14.2.0.10 from the clevo thread are worthless and cause freezes of the card when doing large file downloads (steam games for example)

any input is awesome, I really don't wanna RMA but it's whatever at this point

No, I haven't seen any issues that severe. Especially not with the Intel cards. I'd consider just reformatting and seeing if that sorts out your driver problems. Two serious problems like that may just save you time and headache with a reinstall.

    google "intel 6300 freezing"

top 3/4 posts are about this (and similar WLAN cards that use similar drivers) causing entire system freezes and slow DL speeds on large files.

---- On another note, I did reformat last night and it ran decently until I started trying to download large games (only downloaded steam games and firefox)

Skyrim is slightly buggy but that's for the majority of AMD GPU users from what I've gathered.

I couldnt test any other games due to not being able to download large files. It took EXTREMELY long to download and repair skyrim to be able to play it.
