I just bought my NP9261 from Xoticpc.com. I feel they are great. especially Justin who answered all my questions on time and promptly. You'll see that almost all of us here have great relations with Xoticpc.com

Best seller for Segar (Bob) was probably Rambling, Gambling Man....made it to #17 on the billboard charts...kind of surprised me as I thought it would have been something from Beautiful Loser.

FYI, actually all those resellers sell Clevo laptops. Sager is a rebrander, which is sold by smaller resellers. I mean there are other clevo resellers that also rebrand the Clevos with their name, like Hypersonic, Eurocom.

Eurocom is in Canada and they carry the full list of Clevo models. Their naming is simply different and stick more to the Clevo naming scheme.

Depends on the model, I have used discountlaptops in the past, as have friends, and have had no issues or problems.

I am purchasing my 2090 from sager themselves though, price wise, its almost identical. The only major difference I saw was on xoticpc's site, they offer a extended labor warrenty beyond sagers base if you dont upgrade it yourself. Almost if not all sites also have no OS, sager comes with Vista 32/64, and lets me change my ram config to 1 gig 1-dimm.

I went with XOTIC PC, they had the price by a few dollars and they were willing to meet my delivery schedule that of course negateted the savings. But they have been responsive to everything and even delivered a day early.

Its a tough choice indeed, ive made inquiries but I hear that Sager uses a different lcd then most resellers. I didnt have a OS to transfer over so the cost would either go into a new OS with a reseller, or the extended warrenty for 139 from Sager, which only put the overall cost up a little higher, and gave me 3 years parts and labor instead of 1 parts, 3 labor.

no... they will be selling the same laptop, and so will the other resellers.
just one with minor changes.. it's still an m570ru. and you can most likely still put in an 8800.
