My sager is running at the same FPS as my Gateway in Everquest (game) Its plugged in and on High performance also its jerky in game, strange thing is that it scored a 13444 in 3D mark. I checked all the settings SLI and matched it to the gateway. Could it be that the 176.02 drivers just aren't optimized yet for the 9800gt? Thanks in advance Robert.

Are people having good results with the 177.72 and 9800gt? Only reason I'm using the 176.02's is because they came with the laptop. Robert

How do you go about cleaning up the old driver?

Also, should I download the driver off of Sager's site from 7/16 or this one? Does Sager approve the driver from 7/16 and not the newer one or have they just not update the site with the new one?

don't bother with modified drivers. they are a waste of time and cause nothing but issues. just use sager's latest drivers.

regarding everquest, are you talking about everquest 2 (i bet you are)? if so, that game does not work with SLI. disable SLI to get better (less erratic) performance. it's just a bad game in terms of optimization. the game was designed with Ghz in mind back in the P4 days and not with multi-core solutions. sony has not bothered to patch the game for current hardware support, anyway.
