Hey guys! I've been reading this forum for the last month and it's great so I just joined today. I just purchased a new Sager 5793 from Powernotebooks thanks to what I read on this forum and it should arrive tomorrow, but have the impression that there are not many good video drivers for it yet.

What do you think are the best drivers for Vista 64bit?

So far it seems like the one that came with it is the best.

Vista 64 has really poor support atm compared to vista 32 ... well unless you are having 4gb ram, vista 64 is not worth it right now and you would actually be better off using vista 32 till drivers are developed...

XP SERVER 2003 is 32 bit. and is awesome it supports FULL 4gb of ram. plus you can play games good and have all 32 bit XP driver support.

All things considered with the current state of vista64 drivers, having 4 gigs of ram, and a 8800m, should I get vista32 instead? Server 2003 sounds good but I only have vista.

I never heard anyone installed XP Server 2003, does it any good? Is it hard to install? What's the different with the XP Pro beside full support for 4 GB RAM? and have 32 bit XP (I assume all series) drivers?

It's some lame release (as usual), made by someone with nLite.
There is always Windows Server 2003, but I doubt anyone wants to pay 1k for a server OS. If you want 4GB of RAM get an x64 OS (Vista).

I have Vista 64 and I am pretty happy with it. I had some little problems with two programs but I managed to installed them with some tricks...

I've been using vista 64 for about 2 months and love it!
