Before any flames me or says 'use the search' :) for some reason it's not working on my system today.
Basically I am after recommendations on the best lap cooler for the D901C.
Not that mine is getting overly hot, but currently to game on my lap I am using an upturned tea tray to rest on to allow ventilation so thought I would getsommit proper to do the job.
Can you run a laptop cooler actually on your lap?
Any help or suggestion would be appreciated.

    Thanks Gophn.
Just read that and the zalman seems to be the way to go. but the effectiveness seems to be limited to wether the fans line up with the fans on the laptop.
Do they line up on the 901? Is anyone using a zalman with the 901?
My finger is hovering over the 'purchase' button as we speak..

with the zalman the fans don;t blow directly up, they blow forwards and up through the grill in the front so as long as your intakes aren't right at the back you should be fine (from images I've seen of the d901c bottom you should be great) The 570ru's cpu fan is actually behind the grill, but the cooler does blow air in the unused fan slot in the 5793 and the vents at the front of the unit to keep the chipset, ram, processor (actually where the proc is, not the hs) and add in cards cool

The Zalman is pretty good, I used a NC1000 before but got a very good deal and sold it for about 55$ , since my RU stays very cool anyway :D
