Hello all, have decided to buy one of the Clevo D901C models but would like to know if anyone could tell me the best place (reseller) to buy one from as far as price and warranty goes. So far I been looking into the Sager np9262 (all max components such as the quad core and the the 9800m gtx in SLI, two 320gig 7200rpm hard drives) from XoticPC. Also would like to know how the model distributes heat. Mainly during gaming as when I start a gaming session it usually lasts a couple hrs. Would I need to purchase a cooler? Also, what is this Raid config and will it help or hurt, I just don't really understand what it is at all, could someone explain. Oh, and 1 more thing I am a truck driver so I would like to know if someone could tell me where to get a good power inverter (and what volts, 400, 1000, 1500) to use in my truck to power a gaming laptop. Sorry for all the questions, I just want to get the very best setup I can.

I bought a 901c from pcmicroworks (8gb quad xeon and full waranntee) and have upgraded to extra power brick and new graphics card. They had the best waranttee and lowest price on their weekend special. They are sometimes slow at answering email. I haven't tested the waranttee.

You know that the Clevo M98 is due in March?

Quad xeon? never heard of xeon. Is it a newer processer? Is it better?

Xeon was/is the name used on the older duel prosessors, they still use that name but most here refer to them as just Quads.

But yes if you are looking at the D900 wait the new one is going to be much better. Its been in the works for a while now and everyone who is a D900 fanatic have been waiting for these changes.

No point in getting a Xeon Quad X3370... its mainly for bragging rights.

its the same specs as Q9650.... which is much better priced and fully supported by Clevo.
