Where is the best place to purchase the 2090? Directly through Sager or through PC Torque or site like that?

Ours will be delivered next Tuesday from XoticPC. The price was right and they have been very personal and resposive to all inquiries

There is nothing wrong with buying from Sager. Buy where you can configure exactly what you want for the lowest price. If everything is equal, then one has to consider that Xotic and Power people are more accessible through forums, email and such. It should be obvious that the most mentioned names are XoticPC and Powernotebooks.

I have always received prompt and knowledgeable email replies from Sager (friendly too) but you will not get the personal touch and hand holding you get from the XoticPC and Powernotebooks personnel.

Two of my Sagers came from Sager. One came from eBay. My next one will come from XoticPC or Powernotebooks unless XYZ is cheaper by such a margin that I can't resist. Right now any difference is not great enough to change my mind.

    It's all good.

Its not widescreen.... its the standard aspect ratio.

Edit: Well I'm not exactly right. The NP2090/IFL90 screen is 16:10 so thats somewhere in between true film widescreen and standard aspect. Although reading http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aspect_ratio_(image) it looks as if 16:10 is the common "widescreen" aspect ratio for computers. So I guess I'm wrong.

If you buy from xoticpc or powernotebooks and your Sager laptop breaks do they send it back to sager or do they fix it?

I believe you will be dealing with Sager directly at that point, so you wouldn't be sending it to PNB or Xotic. However, in case Sager gives you a hard time, you will always have PNB or Xotic to push some weight on your behalf.
