Where is the best place to buy a Clevo M570U? Cheapest I've found as yet is at discountlaptops.com for 2035$ us for base config with no taxes.
Beside, is the gpu in that model compatible with DirectX 10?

the GPU in the Clevo M570U currently tops out at:
- nVidia 7950GTX w/ DX9 support
There is no official word that this model will get another videocard [DX10 and such]. Its not impossible, but doubtful.
In any case, it is easily the fastest GPU for any notebook, even the new 8600M's cant get near. Its can still be used within Vista. It will last for years.
As for pricing, read the Clevo Guide, there are great prices from many good resellers.... as well as some of them (XoticPC, RJtech, etc..) actually will pricematch. -
Not sure what you are getting with your base config, but Xoticpc has a nice promo running for slightly less (after 3% cash discount) with this spec:

I relied heavily on Gophn's Clevo Guide, checked BBB, reseller ratings and spec'd and respec'd and compared prices; ended up with Xotic PC. Really have to thank the guys in this forum for the excellent info. Did not know about Clevo, Compal, etc., until I found this forum, even though I'd been drooling over Alienware and RockDirect laptops for the last 8-10 months. It was a quite an eye-opener to see pictures of the M570U here - they look just like the Rock Xtreme CTX Pro!! Wow! What a coincidence, eh?

Do they charge sale taxes at xoticpc.com?

This way you can get a much better idea on the pricing comparisons (because you might be able to get better deals if you ask).
As for taxes, it'll be depending on the vendor's location, as well as the consumer's location. -

Sales tax is typically not collected by Online laptop builders unless they are shipping to the state in which they are located. However as Gophn says, a quick call to any of them will give you the answer.
Also, for Sager pricing you will probably find that they are all really just about the same, so you might want to look for things like do they have 24/7 DOMESTIC Support, or is it only provided by Sager's west coast business hours support... -
Resellers are set apart by their support, before and after the sale. So be sure to look into that.
I bought from Donald at Powernotebooks and am more than satisfied.
