What's the best setup that I won't be disappointed with for around $2000?

I came here specifically because I want it to be of the Clevo design and I want some more specific answers from you all. :D

I would probably buy from Malibal, since I can provide my own copy of Windows 7 and that takes off about $80, which is nice.

    I wanted the Veda P180HM, but a $2000 budget doesn't offer much...

    Any suggestions?

Probably the P170HM/P150HM with 2760QM/6990m/8GB RAM/SSD/95% screen. I prefer Nvidia myself, but the gap between the 6990 and the 580m in pricing is pretty large at the moment. The above will do you well, but depending on budget you can obviously go up/down in any of those areas.

You can easily afford the P180HM
Cash in while the $100 off special lasts, I have a quote for one with dual 6990s, 8GB RAM, 2670qm, 500GB HD for $1800!
Be sure to ask for NBR discounts

Just remember that I have to buy the 300w adapter with the setup so that's another $100 for CrossfireX 6970M or 6990M. I suppose I could do 2000 pretty easily.

However could I buy a Bluray drive after the fact and add it in at a later date?

I know, that price was including the 300W adapter upgrade.
Its really easy to pick up a bluray drive off ebay and installing it should be a breeze.

Yep, you can add any slim 12.7mm drive yourself as long as it's a standard (non proprietary) model. For most models it's as simple as adding one screw to hold it in place.

    Cool...

I think I will unfortunately have to settle on my $2500 masterpiece. I'll just save up the extra cash and do that. :D

    Thanks all! Huge help. ^_^
