    Specs: Intel Core i7 2630QM + Nvidia Geforce GT650m

I've been looking at the alternative slim power bricks that some people linked in the W110ER owners thread, but i can't decide which one is the best for me, my main concern is most of them need a 110v AC but in my country we use 230v.

So i would like to know which one is the best in your opinion, and of course it has to be compatible with 230v power source.

Solar charger: i just found this solar charger but im not sure if it will work with the Clevo W110ER.

solar laptop battery chargers,16,000mAh high capacity for laptop ESPOW

    Thanks!

Have you checked the W110ER thread? There has been discussion about alternative ones for quite some time now, and it seems like they're all compatible with 230v current.

Thermaltake and CoolerMaster are the two major ones.

Hey there. I have the ThermalTake one . Been using it for two months non-stop and it works perfectly well. It has a very solid build (even packaging is swag) and it goes up to 120W without getting too hot. Hardly bigger than an iPhone5, so it fits in a computer sleeve along with W110ER easily. Light green connector fits well with this laptop.

EDIT: and it states that it is compatible with up to 240AC. Currently I'm using it with 220 AC in Russia and it is working perfectly well.

    Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!?!

    It's THAT small? Holy hell.

Mind taking a comparison picture when you have a chance? Might have to pick up one for my W150ER.

That one looks really nice, thanks!

Anyone knows if the solar charger will work with this laptop?

Well, I would have never buy those crap's Universal chargers for this laptop.

I have one universal charger running 24\7 for a few years on the other laptop. Don't know why, after a year the battery only last 5 min.

It also has no earth cable like that thermaltake, and makes a huge noise interference in my wallets. I have a crap philips speakers, and there's a lot of static noise in them, but as soon as I unplug the charger from the laptop, noise disappears. When Using creative X-fi go pro usb I can also detect a few noise when using the in-hear phones.

Then here There's lots of problems with electricity, and a lot's of components in my desktops that burned till now. So I will never ever use a charger without earth cable (measured 60 Volts around my pc desktop case without earth cable, so much static noise, and tons of static electricity that kills the components)...

ps: I have the 120W from lite-on, it's pretty damn huge, but hell, even doing a burning test, it never gets hot, most of the times it's even cold to the touch under normal laptop use. PRETTY EFFICIENT !
    Keep Cool

I liked the coolermaster series universal slim 120W adaptors, the other option if you feel confident is to take a dell slim unit apart and replace it with the correct cable for your machine.
