The MSI vbios does sadly not work for my card. Clocks are stuck at 324 after I quit and re-launch a 3D app or if I leave the 3D app running for several minutes. When firstly launched it jumps to 915/2250 just fine...

I have a 300W PSU because I've a x7200 that comes with a desktop CPU. 300W should be total overkill and could run 2 of those cards, so that should not be the issue.

Helllo All, I just got my NP9370 yesterday with a 680M 4GB video card in it, I am curios to do this , would these same files and methods would on my NP9370? What other software would i need afterward and do I just use a USB stick or something? I have been out of the overclocking world for a while but still know about Safe temps and burn in ECt any help is great thank you!, so far im very happy with this system stock but I got a 3740 QM and the 680M with the intention of overclocking both, Anyone overclock at 3740 CPU at all?

For the P370EMx/P570WMx (NP9370/NP9570) ONLY use GTX680M vBIOS based on 80.04.33.00.10, 80.04.67.00.01 or above.
For all other Clevos ONLY use GTX680M vBIOS revisions below those above.

Im trying to get this file but i cant get it off that forum.

Just register there and make 5 good post...it's a good forum and svl7 keeps his work up-to-date.

For the P370/P570 this one works well:

    Clevo 680m - 80.04.67.00.01 'OCedition' revised_01.zip

Keep in mind it bricks other Clevos!

I donated 5$ and got access to the files. I flashed to the 80.04.33.00.10 I also downloaded the one you mentioned. Should I just flash to that? At load in fumark I'm getting like 90c with like 800mzh core clock and 1800 mem clock. I ordered a kit of ic diamond to redo my 680m thermal paste to see if it improves it. Thanks for the advice!

130w cpu + 100w gpu + 100w gpu = 330w with no screen etc = get a dual psu adaptor and second psu if you get a second card.

repasting sounds like a good ide with those temps.
People got good results with the "The Clevo 680m - 80.04.67.00.01 'OCedition' revised_01.zip" one on P370

So correction... I get like 80C running a game like Farcry 3, or 75 ish running Wow, but when i run fumark it goes to like 93 , Which is a burn in test so i guess thats why, After flashing the bios to 80.04.67.00.1 on the 680M Clevo 4gb, I can no longer use CPUID or Nividiainspector to overlcock it and instead have to Use MSI after burner, but it kind of sucks because it does not show me what the current core or memory clock speeds are sent to what are you guys using?

Don't use Furmark, it kills GPUs.
YES, there is a bug in the latest vBIOS that prevents those softwares to work...

Where are you getting this information? I flashed both 33 and 67 found on the techinferno forums(modified by svl7) onto my Sager NP9170(P170EM) without a problem(quite a few times mind you). I've gone back to stick with 33 because 67 doesn't work with a few programs like NVInspector, etc.

Does someone test the 80.04.33.00.24 Msi vbioses on clevo card?

If you flash a gtx680m with .67 vbios and have a P1xxEm, you MUST update your laptop bios to the latest available first.
.67 vbios on P150Em without the lastest Bios on it, make the laptop unbootable.
.67 vbios cause P.O.S.T errors that make P150hm unbootable.

No i don't know ... the only thing i know, is that the .33 vbios, even if it isn't compatible with HM and cause Post errors, allow to boot on an usb key to restore a backup. The .67 don't.

I got some excellent news. Msi 80.04.33.00.24 vbios are fully compatible with P150HM series and seem compatible with P15xEM series.
I flash the 1.0v OV version and got the same score than with the MSI_FD vbios. I will do more test later (stability/performance and MSI 80.04.33.00.24 stock voltage vbios max OC).

Could you please PM me one? Cant download them from there, got 5 post, but still it wont allow me to download attachements.
Also, look at this post from thechinferno - Using your 4GB GTX 680m to its safest and full potential - Page 8, which is upped by svl7 (12-23-2012), creator of all these vbioses. I guess driver modification isnt to hard, simple inf mod.

So Is there any chance to brik the card? Is it have something to do with subvendor version, or a bios version precisely?

He has added more customised MSI versions here:

NVIDIA Kepler VBIOS mods - Overclocking Editions, modified clocks, voltage tweaks

Page 2, give a bit to register your posts and it should work, otherwise let me know which bios file you want (stick with the MSI ones and the drivers will install normally).

Make sure to create a backup of your original bios too and so you know default voltage is roughly 0.96v (1.01 or 1.02 in turbo).

How are you all flashing your vbios in P170EM? I can't get my system to recognize the card in nvflash. Am I not using the right commands?

Also, for OV vbios, which OV value have you found to be most stable? I'd like to bump my voltage up a little bit and see how I fare.

if you are flashing in windows, you've gotta uninstall all nvidia drivers first.

stock voltage with unlocked sliders works best for me

Then you have to flash with windows. lots of people including me had this problem. Just make sure no programmes are running and Windows update isn't due. Uninstall your nvidia drivers and flash your vbios. Just make sure to get a windows version of nvflash commands are the same.

e: im using version 5.118 works like a charm

Sorry to necro but I'm trying desperately to find answers. I'm looking in this thread from svl7: NVIDIA Kepler VBIOS mods - Overclocking Editions, modified clocks, voltage tweaks

There are a lot of VBIOS versions. I'm looking in particular for my Sager NP9150 (Clevo P150EM) and its GTX 680M. I don't know which one I should be looking for. Also I saw you need to have the latest BIOS version to flash them. I have v14 but there is a later version that I don't know how necessary it actually is.

    Which should I use?
