I just got my np8760 and I'm getting used to the keyboard, much more... svelt than the one that's on my Gateway 7801... but back onto the subject, I bought this second hand from Carlos and the wireless card was kaput on it, I'm not complaining about him, so I could go stock or I could get something a bit more beefy, I see it's able to take a 3 antenna card sooo, anyone wanna let me know the best.

So is the intel 6300 a good card to toss into it?

It's the best Intel card out there right now. Mine has worked great.

You should check LPC digital or babyhemi (here on NBR) for one of these.

Check out the Bigfoot Networks Killer 1102, from test i've seen it beats the Intel 62xx and 6300 cards.

Bigfoot is fudging the numbers. It's nothing special.

    Take the 6300.

Not sure where you can get one aftermarket, alot of resellers offer them at the time of purchase but i couldnt find one place that sells them retail. They might be too new still, we've only had them for about a month.

I got the 6300, and I've yet to boot it up. at work right now lol, but quick question. Does it really matter what antenna I put in what slot? also where can I get some spare ones, I accidentally broke the main one...

I've got a question. Right now I have the stock wireless card, but if it turns out that I need a better card in the future, can I order one from a reseller? Would it be possible to install it myself, pretty easily?

Yeah, it's pretty easy, as long as you don't break anything like I just did lol. Just need a small philips screw driver and time.

Also I got the 6300 from amazon for 35, I also paid for the next day shipping... but yeah I just need to get home and install it!

Oh neat! thanks, and + rep. And sorry about your antenna, If I do it, I'll be sure to be really careful with them.

ohh sweet! There's room in it for a full length card rather than just that micro card... unless if I want to use something else in there... what can you put in that spare slot?

I'm happy that this thing has 4 antenna! yay for that!
