    Better webcam on PB50(1)RF-G ?

    HI !

    Ii see that PB5XRF-G has stock 1 M HD webcam.
    According to the service manual (i took info from here:

    PB50RC_SM service manual (pag 47/140)

    the models are the following:

    Do you know if are there any better webcam compatible with this chassis ?

    No one will have tried, a compact usb option will outperform any inbuilt.

    Yep, internal webcams aren't really anything special. A low end external will outperform the better internal ones.

    An external usb camera would surely be better.
    I just expected clevo to offer a 2M FHD camera option on this new pb50/51 chassis as they already did on "older chassis" like p950/p955, p751,p775,...

    It's down to a cost target and balance for the intended user. If you can get a part cheap to test then it might be worth a go.
