I was told that this software Bisoncam was better for the 2.0MP cam in the Sager NP5793 than VideoView, what I have installed now. I couldn't find it anywhere on the net or on the drivers CD..... Can anyone point me in the right direction, please ?

well i'm using VideoView with my 2.0MP camera, i thought the Bisoncam software was for the 1.3MP cameras? not too sure.

If your build is clevo, drivers can be found here: http://www.clevo.com.tw/en/e-services/download.asp in the optional section.

Hmmm.... then I might as well wait for someone else to chime in... Can anyone confirm than Bisoncam is for the 1.3MP cam ? Also, where on my CD would it be located ?
And thanks for the link! :)

technically bison is for the 1.3mp cam but the cam is just registered as a usb cam by windows so you should be able to use either one with either camera. i have the bison cam one installed and imo its okay nothing great but i have not tried the 2.0mp software yet. maybe i will later. i have the 1.3mp camera also..

Hmmm..... guess I'll just stay with VideoView then :) Well, I bought a Logitech 2MP webcam for my desktop and the software has tons of features and settings.... which VideoView lacks.... thus was wondering if Bisoncam was more feature-packed.... guess it doesn't matter! :)

I would agree.... that Logitech cam software really got me annoyed :p It's got SO many options... and my hands just twitch to try setting them away on my own laptop :D

i have the 2.0 mp video view and it is great, i think. it captures video is very low light easily. i had a bisoncam (dont remember the mp, 1 or below) on my older 9860 and that did not work well in low light.

Personally, I've had nothing but headaches helping customers install Bisoncam software. If you already have a driver for the camera and just want something to record video with I'd recommend something like Zweistein, which is free and full featured.

I had Bisoncam and it worked with my 2MP cam but I uninstalled it since there's not really any special features and it runs 2 processes.
