I have a Clevo P370EM that had drive failure. I have installed Windows 7 x64 and all my programs. The webcam drivers are not working. I installed the drivers for the camera from the Clevo site. I thought all was working but the webcam is not seen by amcap. The generic usb video device is. It freezes up amcap.

When I tried to run the installer again it gives 3 options, modify, repair or remove. I choose remove but the removal failed in the middle of the process. The program is not seen by control panel windows removal. When I run the installer it still gives the 3 options with no way to install. Choosing any of the options results in an error message stating that the program is not installed. I tried removing anything that has bison in it from the registry.

Amcap works with my other webcams, and the bisoncam worked before the hdd meltdown.

    Any ideas? Thanks
    Stew

Went through the registry again. Finally got the installer to work. The drivers however do not. Anyone else have trouble with the Bisoncam drivers from the Clevo site?

    Any help appreciated.

The camera will not work with any program. The other cameras will work however. Seems it is the Bisoncam drivers and not software? Is x64 the problem? The Clevo download site just says windows 7.
