Well I Finanly broke down and ordered the Black-Hawk XR5 from pc Microworks. I could not wait nor take the chance that xotic pc would have the same offer. Plus with the loyalty standings it has on these forums I'm sure the day they launch the 8800's they are allocated will go on Intergalactic backorder. I'm curious as to why they are not releasing information on the 8800's until December 6th. Eurocom and pc microworks both have them on their websites and are taking pre-orders.

    Components:
    Intel® Core™2 Duo E6850 (3.0GHz/1333MHz/4MB)
4096MB Ultra Speed DDR2 800MHz Extreme Performance Memory
    200GB @ 7,200 SATA300 High Speed Storage (1x 200GB 7200RPM)
    No External Storage
8X High Speed Dual Layer +/- DVD-RW Drive
**FREE UPGRADE ON ALL PRE-ORDERS** Single nVIDIA Geforce GO 8800GTX 512MB DDR3 EXTREME GPU **ETA MID-LATE DEC.**
17" HD WUXGA+ 1920x1200 Ultra Resolution GlassVision Wide Screen Cinema Display
8 Channel Advanced SRS WOW Surround Sound System
High Speed 10/100/1000 Mbps Gigabit Networking Adapter
Internal High Speed V90k Dial Up Modem
Built In 802.11AGN 300mbps Ultra Speed Wireless Adapter
    Integrated Advanced Bluetooth Wireless Adapter
Microsoft® Windows Vista Business Edition 64 Bit **NEW**
3 Year Diamond PLUS Blanket Protection Advanced Coverage
    >> *FREE* Dead Pixel Protection
    >> *FREE* Initial Shipping
    >> *FREE* Virus & Spyware Protection Package
    >> *FREE* Notebook Carrying Bag With All Laptops
    >> *FREE* Advanced Aluminum Alloy High Flow Notebook Cooler With All Laptops (ALL included in Diamond Plus)
    No Office Productivity Package

Retail $3873.00 Black Friday Special $3149 + 349 for Diamond Warranty(the PLUS was thrown in, I guess part of the black friday event). For a total of $3498.00

Eurocom $4179 with no Black Aluminum Brief case, carbon fiber, or notebook cooler. (these are all free with blackhawk)

Xotic PC $3722 retail $3610.34 with the annoying "cash discount" Guess Its not so annoying since it will be Pre-ordered anyways. No extra wait time.

Xotic pc configuration was with the SATA150 200gb instead of the New generation SATA300 200GB with pcmicro and The 7950 GTX, not the 8800 GTX.

I could not pass up this offer when I did the "math"

I went with only 1 8800 gtx because of pc micros Diamond Blanket warranty.

    All Upgrades at Wholesale Cost

The most beneficial and exclusive part of the Diamond Program is that we offer all of your future upgrades at our wholesale cost. Because of our volume purchasing and distribution connections, we can offer much lower pricing to our Diamond Program members for upgrades -- savings as much as 75% off our normal retail pricing. Through any other manufacturer, you would have to pay full price for any upgrade to your system. This incentive alone could pay for the Diamond Program after only a single upgrade! No longer do you have to buy a new system to stay ahead of the technology curve, simply upgrade your existing system under the Diamond Protection Program

When I asked the sales guy about this he actually told me to hold off and use this to get the other card since it would be alot cheaper.

I cannot wait to see the carbon fiber top :D

And now I must endure somthing even harder than deciding which company to go with. I must wait......................... :(

BTW I want to thank everyone on these forums for helping me to decide the sager/clevo was the route I wanted to go.

Did you order this on friday to get the black friday special? I am wondering because I bought today, and wasnt offered the special. If you got it today let me know, you might save me a chunk of money.

    Congrats!!

I just couldn't wait for other companies to offer the 8800's. I have been waiting a long time to upgrade my lappy.

I agree with the waiting part... It sucks.

I wouldn't really consider the graphics card update anything special as once the 8800m is released it will no doubt replace the 7950 thus making the price about the same.
