    Hey all!

This machine is GREAT :D and it owns oblivion when it comes to FPS (Average 45-50 FPS in outdoor spaces at 1920 X 1200 all settings maxed out except for AA because I use HDR) but I have noticed that the sound is having some issues. While playing the sound of my footsteps and voices of other NPC's will fade in and out. I will still hear the sound but it will be muffled and then it will become clear again and then back to muffled. I play oblivion on windows XP Pro (dual boot with Vista 64) and I never had an issue with the sound on my old XPS Gen 2. I wonder if it has to do with the Realtek HD Audio drives. I would greatly appreciate any advice you could provide.

I have the exact same issue with my 9261. I never experienced it while using vista, but as soon as I switched to XP, the game does sound muffled occasionally.
