    Ok so im thinking of buying the sager np8662, and want to upgrade to the 2X Blue-Ray Read/8X DVDRW Super Multi Combo Drive and want to the if it can burn REGULAR DVDs. i want to be able to watch my blu rays but dvd burning is a must. Much help is appreciated. Thanks.

    yeah, you can burn regular DVDs.

    Yeh it has all the attributes of a DVD burner. If it's panasonic, its gonna be Dual Layer DVD burning as well.
