    u can either try to search for the exact specs of ur drive via google or use hwinfo to check the specific discs it can handle :)

    Blu Ray burners will write to single and double layer discs, so no problems with those.

    I have an UJ 265 and an UJ 260 from Panasonic, both are excellent at burning any type of Blu-ray disk, including 50 GB ones.
