Hi every one, here is my inquiry.
I have a Dell XPS 1640 with this optical drive : Dell Blu-ray Optical Drive
But have a look at the Blu-Ray Fence in the Dell

Wanted to know if there's possibility to move it from my Dell to NP9150 as there's no slot opening on Dell whereas NP9150 has an opening Optical drive.

    Thanks in advance guys.

It's a standard form factor which should fit in the shell. You would however need to find or fabricate a bezel to prevent dust and foreign objects from entering and damaging the drive or computer.

Maybe a bezel from an old slot-load CD or DVD ROM could work?

    Good luck,
