    hi I recently bought a Sagre NP5790,....

I am seeing the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) lately....

it all began after i took a broadband connection for my laptop a couple of daya back....the connection is provided through a USB port.....

    the error is shown as...

    BUGCODE_USB_DRIVER error...

All it says in that blue screen that it might be a result of any software that i might have installed lately.....

it just happens all of a sudden randomly.....and then restarts automatically......i dunno what is the problem here....is it some error with the USB driver???? what should I do,.....

I am running my sytem on windows XP...has any of u faced this sort of problem or come across it.........

    Please help....!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this is precisely the error that I am getting...

"A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

    BUGCODE_USB_DRIVER

If this is the first time you’ve seen this Stop error screen, restart you computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:
Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed. If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any windows updates you might need.
If the problem continues, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select Advanced Start up Options, and then select safe mode.

    Technical Information:

    ***STOP:0X000000FE (0X00000002, 0X 825D74E8, 0X82DD0BE0, 0X824203E0)

First try updating your windows xp with most recent fixes. Also does your problem go away when you unplug your broadband USB dongle?

I have the same problem of cynozure007, but only when recently I have started my Bittorrent client...after 10-20 minutes my pc crashes and sometimes, not always, the same blue screen appears; sometimes it doesn't appear, and I can't see any changes on the screen, so I have to restart my pc.

It is strange it appears only while Bittorrent client is running...

I have Vista on my laptop and I'm using a LAN connection and I'm natted; my mouse is the only USB device connected all the time.
