    Blue-Ray, 9800M GT, 2.53 Ghz Centrino 2 - $2300 USD?

    I can't find the topic anymore, but maybe an hour ago I saw a topic about a guy claiming that the topic poster was paying to much for his NP8660. For $2300 he was able to get an 9800M GT, a 2.53 Ghz processor 25W, Blu-Ray drive, VISTA ULTIMATE, all for $2300 from PCMW (PC Microworks). How is this possible, I went and configured the 'Edge', but it exceeded the price that xoticPC offers by so much.

    there was an rebate during july 4th so that's probably when he ordered it

    I would not worry about the Blu-ray drives at the moment.

    They still need to mature in the next generations... which is when the prices are going to be better as well. :)
