Recently got a bluetooth mouse to free up a usb port.

problem i'm having is, 1. the bluetooth adapter in my laptop doesn't startup automatically
    2. the devices don't connect to a bluetooth until i go into the 'bluetooth devices' find the device then double-click it and hit 'connect'.

is there a way for bluetooth to stay on, so the connection with my mouse does as well?
and for my bluetooth devices to automatically connect when they are around my laptop?

    thanks.
    :)

Ugh. Been a while since I played with it, but there's options you can set in your bluetooth preferences to autoconnect devices.

It's off by default because it's considered (rightly so) a security risk.

In bluetooth settings (right click on the bluetooth icon in your taskbar), bring up bluetooth settings.

You'll see a bunch of buttons.

Discovery to allow the devices to find computer (you'll need this when you make the --initial-- connection to the computer)

    Then connections you'll have:
Allow bluetooth devices to connect to this computer (this is your auto-connection that you were talking about)
Allert me when a new device wants to connect (I leave this enabled for peace of mind)

That should alloiw your device to auto-connect.

You might want to check the clevo hotkey settings too if the adapter is off every reboot.
