I'm not sure what's going on with my bluetooth but of all the notebooks I own and have owned this is the first to do it. Everytime my computer goes to sleep or restarts the bluetooth is shut off. I have to restart it with FN-F12 everytime. A minor inconvenience but it's annoying for sure. I asked support and was told that it's normal, I've never owned a laptop that shut it's bluetooth off on every reboot. I primarily use a bluetooth mouse (I cannot stand the track pad on this thing) so it's fairly worthwhile to have it be available on everyboot (assuming the mouse is on and in connection range).

There is a BIOS setting that makes the notebook remember the Bluetooth power status. Advanced-Advanced chipset settings-"Blue Tooth power setting"

What Bleaker pointed out should fix it (Hit F2 at boot, change it from Bios to enabled at power up). It's primarily done as a power saving measure- most people only use BT once in a long while, so leaving it on is an unnecessary drain on battery life (and it can sometimes cause interference with wireless).
