Ok, I'm using a M570RU-U, with integral bluetooth. The software that comes from Clevo is BlueSoliel, which uses their propreitary bluetooth stack.

I've got a bluetooth wireless keyboard and mouse combo from Logitech (MX5500). The logitech SetPoint software requires the Widcomm bluetooth stack, and will work fine so long as my integral bluetooth is using the widcomm stack.

If I use their receiver, it works fine - loads up with their software, Setpoint detects the mouse/keyboard, and everything is gravy.

If I don't, however, Setpoint won't recognize the keyboard and mouse. They still connect through BlueSoliel, but as generic HID's and thus all the extra features (LCD display on keyboard, all the extra keyboard and mouse buttons, etc). This is obviously not ideal :(

Is there any Widcomm stack software I can run instead of the clevo-provided Bluesoliel? I'm struggling to find something that will work with this hardware :(

I really, *really*don't want to have to use the logitech bluetooth receiver - it's going to suck more battery power, and is entirely redundant - I bought the set purely because I have integral bluetooth, and wanted to get away from things sticking out of USB ports.

    Any thoughts?

Have you contacted Logitech tech support? I see a clear cut incompatibility issue, if you don't got Widcomm it won't work... hope I'm wrong but seriously get a hold of Logitech ASAP before the return date is up in case the issue can't be solved.

AFAIK there is no way to make setpoint "see" your mouse and keyboard if you use bluesoleil.. I've tried a few different software and no one worked..

But you should contact logitech support. They couldn't help me. I hope you'll have better luck :)

Ok, I got it working. Was about to bring 'em back, but fortunately a solid day of sweet, sweet internet seaching netted me the widcomm drivers, which apparently work with our integral bluetooth hardware (something many, as it turns out, do not). I went through a *lot* of different sets of drivers before I got some that did the job.

So, now I'm running the widcomm stack and Setpoint picks it up right away.

Logitech said that you've got two options: Run a different bluetooth stack, and only get basic functionality, or use their USB bluetooth receiver and get full functionality. Sweet lot of help that was =/ Still, just need to use bluetooth software with a matching stack type. Logitech's customer support is horrible at the best of times, though, so I put little stock in what they say. If only I didn't like their mice and keyboards so much.

So, if anyone else is going through this: Dump BlueSoleil (It's largely junk anyways IMHO) and use a more bare-bones driver set with the widcomm stack and everything's gravy.

Where did you get the widcomm driver from (and can you post it up for the rest of us please?)

I googled all over the place, downloaded every one I could find, then just started installing, trying, uninstalling, wiping, over and over again.

I suspect the driver I got is a commercial driver - though to be entirely honest, I have no idea. It was a torrent off Mininova, widcomm drivers version 5 0 1 801

Regardless, it works. If it IS commercial, I've absolutely no idea how one would obtain it legitimately.
