    Boot with keyboard lights off

    Is there a way to boot my notebook with the keyboard lights off by default ?

    Other than disconnect the power cable for the LEDs? No, I don't think so. The lights are controlled through the proprietary software in the OS.

    Maybe a modded BIOS will support this feature, but as we don't employ any of them, I can't confirm that.

    I don't think I've seen that option in any stock BIOS for the most part, at least that I can think of. But a modded BIOS may give you that option possibly.
