    Hey all,

So I was cruising along nicely in Far Cry 3 when my Ctrl keys suddenly gave up on me. Both seem to have stopped working at the same time, which is weird. I'm currently running Windows 8, and I rebooted in Windows 7 to see if it was an OS issue, but even that did not seem to help. Basically, the Ctrl key just doesn't act like it's been pressed. Any suggestions would be welcome

Ok, weirdly enough just as I posted this, they started working again. However, this is not the first time this issue has happened, so any answers would still be welcome.

Have you tried updating your bios to the latest ones? Fixed my keyboard issues.

Also try reseating the keyboard ribbon cable (underneath the keyboard - where it is connected to motherboard)

Assuming the circuitry isn't bonkers (unlikely, since the Ctrl keys are on separate sides of the keyboard), you can try reseating the cable as mentioned above. An easier fix - if available - would be to look for a firmware update from the manufacturer.

Did all that, the problem still remains. Spoke to Xotic and decided to do an RMA of the keyboard only.
