I ordered a sager 5797 end of jan from XOTICPC, and received it around feb. 13ish... just recently saw the new graphics card came out just weeks later(!!!) Can i upgrade/exchange for the new card? I got the 1gb 9800GTX... is it worth doing? What are the differences? It seems like it would likely help with power usage... no?

If you can sell your 9800M GTX for a decent price, then yes, it is worth it. No reason not to go with the GTX 280m. Its a great GPU.

the performance gain will be around 10%... so its up to you to see if its worth the upgrade.
